Awesome reprieve from the angst indeed :) Of course it's always nice to see Finn get a bit of what he deserves, and Rachel definitely deserves to be happier than she's been allowed to on the show. (it's gonna kill me to see her trying to go after Finn again in the upcoming week(s), if the promo is any indication) Thanks so much for posting this!

Thanks for pointing out the errors! I fixed them :) and I agree I was really excited when it seemed like she had finally taken her focus off of Finn, but now it looks like she wants him back. The only thing making this slightly less painful is the Faberry friendship that could possibly develop, so that's what I'm pinning my hopes on.

I was trying to explain some of the Glee drama to a coworker who doesn't watch the show (yet). I found myself having difficulty explaining the behavior of both Quinn and Rachel separately and in conjunction with each other (of course I've made sure to emphasize to him how closeted Quinn appears--which he agrees with upon hearing my "evidence"--and how much of a dumb sack of crap Finn is

Rachel is rather clingy when it comes to Finn, which I too found slightly odd until I started thinking about where Rachel is coming from. On the outside she appears to be a strong, goal-oriented person who knows what she wants (Broadway star,etc.). However, she has shown signs of insecurity. For example, she thinks Santana and Brittany are hotter than she is, and she thinks Finn finds them more desirable. The fact that he initially chooses her over them speaks volumes to her, and it assures her that she is special. When Finn breaks up with her (again) in season 2, that validation that she felt is gone, and she's left alone with her insecurities again. I think part of the reason she is chasing after Finn is that she wants that validation again that yes, she is special and means something to someone. That's why she's blind to the fact that Finn is a complete douchebag. He's one of the few people who makes her feel wanted instead of constantly tearing her down (granted he doesn't stop other people from insulting her, but for Rachel it
