Greetings and welcome! And I don't mind q's. ^_^ Canon does seem to point to Ryuuki x Shuurei but it's also not making it an easy trip. ^^;; The more I read, the more there is to the story. >_<;

Shuuei and Kouyuu... if you're thinking about the scene in the anime, a similar one does happen in the novels, but nothing of an intimate nature is suggested between the two. For one thing, there's *no* question that Shuuei is a definite womanizer and a frequent visitor to the red lights district. ^^;; Unfortunately we don't know too much about their past especially events revolving around the National Exams.

The two of them do seem to be close enough friends that Shuuei does know about Kouyuu's past and who Reishin is (most of the court doesn't seem to realise exactly who he is) and Shuuei definitely enjoys teasing him. The main story where we see the two together a lot is in vol 6 in the ghost story (side story). This happens ~1/2 month after Kouyuu is assigned to the Emperor and he's dying of boredom. Shouka tells him that a ghost supposedly appears on occasion in the archives. ^^;; Kouyuu then decides to investigate the ghost and drags Shuuei into things.

Otherwise, Shuuei's sensitive enough to Kouyuu's moods. For example the teasing in the archives in the first story was not only just to tease him but also served to help Kouyuu relieve some of his stress and frustration. Later on, we see Shuuei picking up on when Kouyuu's seriously depressed over something Reishin tells him in response to a question of his. In that instance, Shuuei talks to Shouka and gets the ball rolling for Kouyuu to talk things over with him. I can't think of any instance off hand where Kouyuu does the same for Shuuei, but Shuuei's a couple years older than Kouyuu IIRC and I can't think of any instance where Shuuei has any such worries as yet. The worst headache Shuuei's had to deal with is when Ryuuren was around. That's about all I can think of offhand for those two. ^^;

a sexxy one but non the less he does come off as a cassanova. Though I do admit that one episode of him holding Kouyuu's hand and comforting him was super sweet T__T

Indeed, poor Kouyuu! But Shuuei's just so perfectly compatible with the man (much like how Shuurei's maternal nature fits with Ryuuki's, uhm, Ryuuki-ness ^__^;;;), with his light and teasing nature to balance out Kouyuu's barbaric awkward actions, and even better, is capable of handling him. ♥

Kouyuu totally has a "maternal" nature and I love his relationship with the Ryuuki. AND< i am SURE that is why Kouyuu is KING with the ladies. Having that more understanding and softer side. heh. ^____^

I've not watched much to see how he interacts with Ryuuki (aside from that bit in Eps 2, which is maybe an indication of how their relationship's gonna be?) If Kouyuu manages to get over his hate for women (I'm not sure why) then any girl who gets him is just very, very lucky. Well, that is, if she can put up with Kouyuu's flailing and mood swings, but as of now, Shuuei has proven himself to be utterly capable of handling thefirecracker. Oh, how the pairing sends flutters to my heart... ^_~

That is quite a load of information! I wouldn't be surprised if the anime decides to execute these scenes BL-style, as evidenced in Episode 7 when they soaked BL subtext on a seemingly simple scene. *laughs*

I took a look at the site, and it's a fan fic site so you'd need to be able to read J. I think it's optimized for viewing on your cell phone? Anyhow, I'm not entirely sure what you're looking for on the site, but you'll need to scroll down for the links.

Basically the links are: Read me; What's new; Stories; BBS; Diary; Links; and Mail.

Under the +小説+ link. ○小説２○ is for the Saiunkoku FFs while +裏小説+ is for the adult content FFs (which are Saiunkoku). ^^; You need to click on □表紙を開く to get the link list of stories. I haven't read much beyond the first FF in the regular section but it was quite mild Shuuei x Kouyuu. ^^;;

Ah, the disappointment of not being able to read Japanese. *grin* Looks like I have to pass on this one (but it's quite all right, as I've found myself quite a bit of fanart sites in the ShuueixKouyuu J-list!)

Oh, I definitely don't mind! It took me two whole days just to get past the language barrier, and the only reason I could hunt down the sites is because I memorized the itty bitty lines on Kouyuu and Shuuei's names. *hides in corner* It'll be a shame if I don't share them with everyone else. ♥

Give me about half a day to compile everything I've found (unless you'd love RyuukixShuurei fanworks more? ;) )
