My Awesome Movie Tastes
I just got done watching The Promise, a Chinese martial arts/romance/fantasy movie thing. I was kind of sad to see that so many people hated it online. I thought it was kind of cool. Yeah, the special effects sucked, I don't know why the hell that guy had those finger-pointer things that grade school teachers have, and I really wish I didn't have to watch a guy outrun stampeding bulls on all fours. But it was entertaining. DAMN ENTERTAINING.
But it wasn't good enough to enter my pantheon of awesome, which, as of now, only consists of Amadeus, The Talented Mr. Ripley and Howl's Moving Castle. And Howl is only there because he was kind of hot. So I guess that doesn't really count. I also have a guilty pleasure list which is basically the Pirates of the Caribbean movies and 300. GOD I LOVE THOSE MOVIES.
