Okay, seriously, why is there not more David/Colby (Numb3rs) slash? I mean, they practically slash *themselves*. Even Don knows it; he sends David home and "thinks Colby's with him".
In other news, I have spent a huge amount of money this week. I bought *furniture*, people. And it is nice and comfy and I love it. Two chairs, one with ottoman, and a grown up queen-sized bed. There is now room for me and all three cats at one time. Someone is supposed to come pick up my old mattresses from Freecycle, but he was supposed to come last night and didn't, and now hasn't shown up tonight. I'm getting irritated.
Um. They're sending National Guard members to the border to help with illegal immigration. Aside from elections growing near, is there some major issue regarding immigration that I don't know about? Or, I don't know, Central/South American terrorists? Because otherwise, why are we--and by we, I mean the government, because I'm sure not taking responsibility for this stuff--suddenly devoting huge amounts of time, money, and people to the southern border?
And speaking of immigrating, John (younger brother) will be moving into our family room/third bedroom sometime in the next week or so. His finances have been of the suck for quite a while, and he's hoping he can get things together more by living here and only paying part of rent and bills rather than all. Should be interesting, as I haven't lived with him since . . . well, more than ten years ago. Will's been a little weird about it--dunno if he's nervous or excited. Time will tell, I suppose.
