Weekend and What Nots start with "W"
So I realized a few things this past weekend. I realized that when you have children, it's in everyones best interest to own a dog (kid friendly optional).
Delilah went to "Oz" with Darby this past weekend, and I opted out - staying home with the kids seemed to be an easier option for me. So I stayed home with Tahlyia and Judah, Malachi went to his friends cabin, and Darby with Delilah went to The Land of Oz (our lakefront property. I will be calling it a buncha different names until I settle on one.)
I didn't realize how much Delilah cleans the floor after the kids are done eating!! No wonder she's our little chubs, she eats SOOO MUCH FOOD!
Anyways, I just thought of that story because my hands smell like garlic! mmMmM Pizza dough!
On the weekend I took Tahlyia and Judah to the Centre Cultural Franco-Manitobain to celebrate La Fete de la St.Jean Baptiste - something that I grew up with and celebrated (being I lived in Quebec and all) It was fantastic! I mean..as fantastic as a small party goes! Everything was FREE! Free cotton candy, free french books, free face painting, FREE FREE FREE! They charged $5 for adults and $2 for children ONLY if you were going to enjoy some tasty crepes! (We didn't take part in the crepe eating) On the CCFM face book page, they have pictures of Tahlyia and her little friend holding hands. The girls are pretty cute - inseparable.
Tomorrow is report card day for Malachi and Tahlyia - I'm pretty excited to see what the teachers had to say!
Friday is the last day of school, so things should be wonderful. Downside to school ending is Malachi leaving to see his Momma till August 7th. *insert random words here*
Soooo ya, that's about all.
Looking forward to 3:00 - Darby starts vacation, Folk Festival next week!
Lots of summer stuff planned!! (Well..Not really, but there will be!)
