So I've been reading John Bierce's Young Adult series, Mage Errant. It's been an extremely pleasant surprise. (Book #1 is included in Prime Reading w/ Amazon Prime.)

I finished A Memory of Light yesterday, and I have to say that listening to things via audiobooks has made me think about several things in a different way -- so many things that I missed and only twigged on to when I heard them.

I'm starting to dive back into this series before the TV show will inevitably fuck up huge parts of it. I started reading this series way back in 1990, and, flaws and all, I love it.

Giving up red meat and red wine for Lent this year, though I am no longer a practicing catholic. I enjoy the discipline of it, and how much more meaningful it is now that I get to make the choice instead of having my parents choose for me.
