So, Rhiannon and friends went to the movies and saw a preview to “Madea Goes to Jail.”

This apparently prompted a several minute conversation where they debated whether or not she went to jail for killing her own children and setting her husband’s current wife on fire with a cursed dress.

Morgan and Iris are playing Dress Up. Rowan is in the room, about 45% paying attention to the girls and 72% paying attention to his video game. (He gets more than 100% of attention, but always uses most of it for video games. That’s just how he rolls.)

So, Rhiannon has recently developed a taste for Queen* (all cassette tapes left in the car for over 6 weeks will eventually become Queen's Greatest Hits.  It is true.  I have read it in books.)   She was singing Bohemian Rhapsody with more enthusiasm than accuracy this evening.

Clearly I have lost my mind.

After lunch I'm taking all three of my youngling monkeys out into the world.  We're swinging by the bank (to facilitate the rest of the day's adventures) going to Target to look at clothes and Lord knows what else, and then we're either going to go see Shrek 3 or PoTC:3.  That last depends on whether or not

Today was the Excellence in Academics Awards Day at Rockvale (or something like that).   Rhiannon was told that she had won something, but not what.  So, off to school I went today, to watch my baby girl win awards.  She came away with four awards this year.

I don't usually worry too much about Mother's Day (despite being a prime canditate for enjoying it -- what with the three kids and all).
