A walk down memory lane can be nice. .
. . . but after going through 4 cabinets, 3 large drawers, 4 shelves of books, and a couple of memory boxes. . . I still couldn't find the damn letter I wanted to read. Even after laughing and sighing quite a bit over various items, I'm definitely feeling rather upset over this. Important stuff like that just shouldn't be able to disappear.
On the plus side, I did find a $20 gift certificate to the movies from two years ago that I was convinced that the back seat of my car ate. Also a Barnes and Noble credit card that I never activated because it was also assumed to be eaten by my car. These were both in the front pocket of my giant piano tuning binder. And I wonder why I can't find that letter. . .
