So I just wrote the most amazing letter I've written in forever... It's to a camper from last summer, and I don't really know why, but I put the most effort ever into it... She'd better love me for it...
This week has been good fun... I finally got my moose from the store in Kilworth that's going out of business... it's never bad to get a good moose for 50% off. You have to pet him to get the full efect, but you can take a look at him here:
MOOSE!!!!I worked on a Wednesday for the first time in my life... it was good fun until the end, when we discovered that antsy horses + muddy hills = bad... We found a horse lying on the ground throwing her head around, which scared me out of my mind cause she couldn't get up, and that can mean broken, which means put down, which means less horses at the ranch, which is definitely not what we're needing right now... however, it seems that she just fell and slid on the mud so that her back legs were kind of wedged uphill from the rest of her body, so she eventually got up and walked it off... Close call... We've lost 8 horses since last summer, and we've got 2 new ones... someone want to show me how that adds up?? And we were also talking on Wednesday about how amazing this summer is gonna be, and I'm getting super excited... I've wanted to be on riding staff since my first year of camp when I was 7, and this year I am... Crazy...
I'll still have Saturday nights off to do fun stuff, so that can be good times...
Spent lots of time in the darkroom this week with Laura (and Brandon), trying to use up as much of my huge pack of paper as I can... I think it's working... It gets used up quick when I make 5 copies of every print.
Kels, I hope you're having fun at your grad right now, being all prettied up and such!!!! Let me know.
That's all for now... People have yelled at me for not updating, so now I did...
