This weekend, Colonial Williamsburg offered free admission for military (in honor of Veteran's Day). So, we took advantage and saved probably $60 or so. Last summer, when we moved me up here, we went for the day but didn't pay, so we couldn't get into many places.

I'm attached. Not necessarily to any one (although "Favorite" is my favorite), but to all of them. It's the cuteness of the 9 that makes my heart melt!

Mandy's puppies will be 2 weeks old tomorrow. They're about to turn adorable. I heard one let out a wee puppy bark earlier. They're starting to try to walk, so they're all roly-polies right now. ( puppies lately )

I didn't get my wish. She had 10 puppies! (1 died) So, now in all we have 5 black and 4 blonde. It took her under 3 hours to have them all. The second and third were like "plop-plop." Then I'd leave the room and go back 5 minutes later: another "plop." But 9?! Can we give them all away? I sure hope so. So far, we have a friend who will ( Read more... )

Mandy woke me up at 2:30 to go out. Then again at 3:30, 4, 4:30, and on and on. I woke Billy around 5:30. She had the first at 5:55, then another at 6:07 and another right after that, and then another. She can stop now ( Read more... )
