i'm sitting in my screen writers class and our class is sharing story ideas for our short films. Valerie, who is from Del Rio, is telling us about a late night experience she had at whataburger. It was about 4 in the morning, she had been in Mexico partying and decided to stop by the Whataburger to grab something to eat, something I'm sure we have all done. Anyhow, she says she walks and there is all sorts of commotion, come to find some drunken couple is going at it in the drivethru and everyone is trying to catch a glimpse. Most of us thought it was hilarious and those of us from border towns like myself could totally see this happening. Meanwhile, some other drunken idiots try and steal a cash register, one that was broken mind you, all while some city police are sitting in the restraunt watching the entire thing. Don't ask me where the cops were when the drunk folk were going at it but they busted the guys trying to steal the cash register. This, in my opinion, will make a hilarious short film!
