I'm a rebel...?
I've decided that I'm going to get a tattoo. ^_^ I want to get a Micky Mouse shape, you know the silhouette-like one that's the basic head and two ears, about the size of a nickel, and I'm going to get it on the front of my left shoulder.
I'M SO EXCITED OMG.
I've thought really carefully about this, too, I'm not just barging into this! I mean, I want to go into big business, so I have to be careful to always give a good, professional first impression. On the front of my shoulder, I'll always be able to see it and look at it, but it'll be covered by anything I wear with a sleeve. Which, since I prefer cold/mild climates, is... everything in my closet. ^_^;; Also, it's small. It's a basic shape. It's one color. This will be a cheap-ass tattoo. Also, harmless.
Disney is something that really touches me and effects my outlook on life. It's a symbol. I want to grow up, but I don't want to grow OLD; the symbol of Disney reminds me that I love being an optimist and having a positive, hopeful outlook on life. I believe in goodness and true love and miracles. I believe in the power of choice and a good attitude. I want to be reminded of this, so I don't become old and cynical and whiny like my relatives.
This is really, really important to me. Thinking about Disneyland and what it symbolizes, and the effects going there has on children and families, really touches me.

I'm going to try and wait until my 20th birthday... which is September 29th... but I don't know if I can wait that long! I'm just too psyched! But my friends would kill me if I did this without them there, and a birthday seems like a good occasion.
