Graduation Week! ;D

Mar 26, 2008 22:44

Congratulations to all the graduates this week! Another school phase passed, as well as another entered. Best of luck, everyone! :) Hopefully, those movingaway from our alma mater will not soon forget the good ol' days (not that I know of any that would have any interest in reading this entry. Oh well).

(sighs) At last, another update. I have, up until now, lost all drive to write any of recent experiences this month. I've a lot to share, but alas, laziness strikes again. :P

On a brighter note, it's been a more or less productive summer so far, not counting the obvious lack of entries. Recalling last year's boredom fest, I've since vowed not to waste my vacation in idleness. And so far, so good... I think. XP Majority of my time is spent reading or playing tennis, bowling and baseball on my brother's Wii. It's actually good excercise. :D Started running on my dad's treadmill, too. I don't plan on letting myself waste away lying in front of the T.V. this time. XD

My little sister Maxine finally graduated from Casa just yesterday. I attended(being the ever-supporting ate that I am--yeah right. ;P) and even helped my mom handle the slides for her speech, what with her being chosen as the Parent speaker for this particular event. I stayed at the... control room, I think it was called. It's the small room within the area where the Glee Club sings for the mass. Anyhow, that's where the person in charge attended to the different angles of footage seen on the big screen on stage. It was interesting, to witness what goes on behind the scenes. :D Everything depended on timing, and the guy in charge ( I forgot to ask his name XP) made quite a few amusing comments(not necessarily positive) as to the manner in which the program further progressed. There were a considerable amount of blunders, I must admit. :P

Fortunately, such was not the case for my dear mother. XD The whole thing was pulled off without a hitch--except maybe with a few of the slides (which were wholly my fault). She was great, and partly why I wanted to come in the first place. I never got to see my mom in action, and now that I have, I can safely say it's worth the early wake-up. :)

Oh, and I wanted to see my friends who were also attending, either as proud relatives who came to witness the event (Andrea), or the CAT officers who supervised the affair (Genikeyks and Christian). Then there were also those who only came to school to finish their requirements. XD It was nice to see them all again, even if only a few weeks had passed. :)

The day before, I also went to school, with the intention of helping a classmate (x-chan! XD) with our Computer scrapbook and getting a chance to catch up with Genica, who was there as well. Unfortunately, I was scolded for not wearing the proper uniform, a fact which I found really annoying since I was in no mood to wear the thick vest in such humid weather--even if it was probably the last time I would have done so. :(
It didn't take us long; all we had to do was cut and paste the pictures. Probably took about an hour at most. I had to wait a lot longer, though. That day was my sister's grad rehearsals, which ended at 12nn. Still, I was happy to be able to talk to them again in person. XD I missed them dearly.

I'm looking forward to April 2nd, a classmate's birthday, ironically and coincidentally, falling on our fourth quarter PTC day. I know I'm not the only one hoping all goes well, since her planned get-together also serves as a reunion for Tres Excellente this summer. :D 'Til then, I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

And so ends this very long post.

Ja Ne! ;)
