Busy Summer Week

Summer Vacation...the time of year when most (hint*hint) students enjoy the long hours of doing absolutely nothing.(I'm not one of them, mind you..)  I'd rather spend time doing something productive instead of staring at the ceiling watching the spiders in the midst of its web-weaving process.

Anyway, last sunday my family and I went to Puerto Galera. The beaches were great, albeit very rocky. Kind of hard on the feet if you don't have flip-flops. The sun was scorching hot, even more so when you stayed on the sand even for just a few minutes. Had to put on tons of sunblock unless I wanted a kat barbecue. One afternoon, I chanced upon seeing some guys playing soccer. Guess what I thought of next...;)

I amused myself skipping rocks on the shallow water. It was heck of a lot more fun than hunting for hermit crabs (sticks tongue out to younger brother).

We even have Henna Tattoos. Mine's a phoenix, and my brother (not the hermit crab-lover) had a dragon imprinted on his arm. I had mine on my shin. For those who don't know, a henna tattoo is the kind that doesn't need a needle to apply to the skin. It's only temporary, lasting a week at most. It's pretty expensive, though. A hundred per design is a lot. :P

Tomorrow, we're going to Singapore for four days. Kinda nervous about the plane ride; call it paranoid, I say you're probably right. Oh well...

Sayonara!

memories, vacation, random-ness, boredom
