Spring Cleaning
Wow, I need to take a break from cleaning my room. I figured that I should probably start throwing some things away since I will be relocating to another room. I've already filled two trash bags with junk! And believe me, there's more to come. It's so easy to accumulate crap. Yes, I suppose sometimes it pays to be sentimental. For example, I would never throw away a photograph. But, honestly, some of the things I've saved over the years are pretty ridiculous! Who needs a 6 year old mento? I really don't want to be a pack rat, and this whole cleaning session makes me think It's already too late. This whole Spring purging thing always makes me feel better. When you don't have useless clutter about you, it's so much easier to get things done.
So, I took my tour of Pasadena Art Center today. Wow! What a place. I knew from the first moment I saw it that I wanted to be there. And today I walked through all the studios and classrooms. I even got to see the gallery, which was filled with some of the most amazing artwork I've ever seen. Seriously, I'm going to have some crazy competition. But, I suppose it will only help me to improve. Everyone was really helpful and friendly, and I left there with such a solid feeling. True, we'll have to sell everything we own to pay my tuition, but I think it'll be worth it. Weee! I can't wait to be an art fag!
Well, I suppose I should get back to the room. I don't want to leave this job unfinished. That'd be way too messy for me. Annie and Pat, I had fun at lunch today. It was nice to try something new.
Oh yes, if anyone would like to have their portrait done, I'm shooting this weekend at Dave's. I need as many people as I can get. Call me up.
