I'm watching Unwrapped and it's all about the cereal. Very nostalgic for more than one reason ( Read more... )

okay so me and scott giziki [from d.c. if you remember him] do these skits at parties on occassion and one of them was about fruit.. well our next one is all about cereal. i just thought it was funny because you mentioned most of what our skit will be about.

okay and weren't there other bakers besides wendell.. i thought there were three total.. maybe i am just making this up i don't know.

hearts, stars, clovers, horse shoes and blue moons. pots of gold and rainbows and my red balloons.

I think you're right about Wendell not being the only baker. I wanna say there was one who was really thin and one who was fat but with brown hair instead of Wendell's white hair. But I couldn't remember their names.

Damn old age...

Also I do remember Scott and I chuckle just imagining your proposed skit =)

i do believe that you are also right about the bakers sizes and the color of hair.. i don't remember their names either though.

you should come to the party that we do our cereal skit at because our fruit one was a big hit. i don't know when this party will be but i know it will be a freddy fest [freddy movies will all be shown] and i think it will probably be at western.. you should definitely come, whenever the hell it is going to be. although maybe for this skit i can keep a straight face.

Frankenberry is my alltime favorite. I hate that I can only get it once a year. One of my happiest moments is when I went to the Mall of America and went to the General Mills store and there were literally hundreds of boxes of it on the shelves. I brought home 8. That's right... I carried 8 boxes of Frankenberry back from Minneapolis to Chicago. I had to take them on the train and everything. Did I care that I got stared at? Absolutely not.

There's just something about pink milk...

Did you actually carry 8 boxes in your arms on the train? Because that would be a sight to see! I can just picture you walking through a train station with Frankenberry boxes piled so high in your arms that they block your face and you can't see.

Also if you can't live without pink milk, there's always that delightful strawberry NesQuick...mmmm!

You bet I did! I had these huge General Mills colorful shopping bags loaded with 4 boxes of Frankenberry in each hand... plus my luggage. I was a sight to see, but I didn't care!
