my old man wants me to go out and work on a mining site as a truck driver and make money and stuff, and come back in 1-3 years and study it if i wish,

my concerns are as follows:

coming back to NO property
my parents divoricing

now what i must research is

can a legal cavet be put on the property so that it can not be sold under circumstances without my witnessed signature?
can i take lauriska with me?
