A local radio station is giving away $1000 a day and was having people call in to see what they would do with the money. So I asked G what he world do.

"Buy Mac!" He exclaimed. He has been saving up his money in his bank for Mac--the third of this truck from cars. The Mac Trevor has as he calls it. Whatever.

"Cool, but after you'd buy Mac you'd still have more money left to spend. What would you do next?" Part of me was hoping he'd say that he'd save some if it rather than list toy after toy. We've been encouraging him to put some if his money in his bank when he gets money.

"I'd put all the rest of the money in my other bank." When we set up his bank (a small Ikea box) we got a second box and marked it charity. We also encouraged him to put a little money in this box to help others. We told him at Christmas time be got to decide where the money would go (animal welfare, homeless shelter, children's hospital, etc.)

To double check I said, "All the rest? What's the other bank for?

"For kids who don't have toys like I do and want some toys. I'm a helper."

Oh sweetie. I know you don't get how much $940 is, but may you keep your helper spirit all your life. Hugs.
