A GROUP of people turned up at a funeral wake in Toa Payoh on Thursday, not to pay their respects to the dead but to gamble.
Twenty-two of them were arrested at the wake at Block 105 Lorong 1 Toa Payoh, which was used as an illegal gambling den to avoid police detection.
