The cockscomb and zinia flowers are just starting to bloom. A caterpillar is hiding or sleeping in one of the flowers. Hopefully we won't get more heat waves, it looks like our tomatoes will be ready in a couple of weeks.

I wanted to take the kid and her friend on a road trip to Ringing Rocks Park, I had heard of the park and boulder field but I have never been there. When the ringing rocks are hit with a hammer they ring.

I'm spending some time with the kid and my sweetheart.
If I get mad tomorrow it will have to be at a few co-workers who have been real butt heads lately.

I remember my favorite Valentine Days were perhaps when I was a little girl. No interest in romance, no pressure just the wonder of the little heart shaped boxes my Dad would bring home for me and my sisters. I am in a very dark mood tonight. So I decided to try to use that energy to do something positive. I am not really satisfied with the photos but they fit my emotional state.
