Forensic Midterm today :-(
Today I had my forensic anthropology midterm. I don't think it went very well. That week when I was sick and missed class has got me behind in everything, and no matter how much I study it seems like I can't catch up with my classmates because it is a very, very fast-paced class. We're supposed to be able to figure out the sex of a skeleton based on the skull, the pelvis, and I'm not particularly good at either. I still can't tell the difference between a humerus and a femur if it's only a broken fragment, and vertebrae all look the same, too. Even when I can recognize the bone, I can't remember how to side it.
Originally, I was hoping to take the final for this class early so that I could go to Ashland with Jeannie and Seanie. I have no idea how to make that happen now, because I'm just too far behind on everything. I should be able to catch up before the final, but I don't think there's anyway I'll be able to get a week ahead of the class before that.
