Last weekend I was telling Mr. P how I needed to go shoe shopping for a pair of gold heels due to his mate's wedding colour scheme (lilac or gold) since I had neither.

Two days ago I realized I have a pair of unworn gold Louboutins from 2009. Oops!

I really need to go through everything I own before adding to the wardrobe.

I caved and bought my one and only pair of Christian Louboutin this year - Pony (hair) Leopard Peanut Wedges. They are at a very sensible, pregnancy-friendly height of 45mm; super duper comfy too.

I have been so good when it comes to shoes this year that my Ninewest (my go to work shoes brand) membership has lapsed (I think it's HKD 5,000 of spending in a 12 month period for auto renewal). This sister hadn't helped as well since she only bought a pair when she was over in June - she usually lugs home 4-5 pairs per trip.

After a horrendous delay due to a mechanical issue on the UA plane and spending a night * in the Regal Airport Hotel, I finally landed in Singapore 15 hours late off a Cathay flight.

Four months ago, I did a shoes clean out  - 10 pairs given away and 3 into the dumpster. Since then, I had given away another 4 pairs to my part-time help, yet I am still lacking space.

I bought the Billy Bookcase over CNY and had it delivered/assembled last night. This afternoon, I set about another clean up. The casaulties aren't bad - 5 pairs ( Read more... )

Hope everyone had a fabulous evening celebrating the new year. Long story short, Mr. P and I ended staying home and watching the 4.5-minute long fireworks from our balcony in Causeway Bay. Hong Kong is just not known for NYE celebration. Sigh.

The best thing about being terribly stressed out is that I declutter as a form of relief. I've thrown away 3 pairs of heels and plan to give away another 10 (heels and sandals) to my cleaning lady for her church charity.
