Where are the happy people? All I see is sorrow and hopelessness… People sitting in their cars alone with sad expressions of despair… One person per car on an endless highway of pointless stupidity… The worker ant crawls to his cubical alone again… The company doesn’t want him talking to fellow employees because he might form a union… Socializing leads to socialism which leads to communism which leads to Marxist rebels and terrorism… Like masturbation leads to heroin and we turn on the TV and it’s nothing but sports and weather… Ten hours of local news, watered down milk toast and more recaps of sports and weather… What is this obsession with the weather report? I CAN LOOK OUT MY WINDOW TO SEE IF IT’S RAINING! What does it matter anyway? We all live indoors and walk a few feet to our car which is inside a garage… We drive to work and park in a basement and walk a few feet inside to a well lighted pristine temperature controlled office… Why do I need to know if it’s going to be partly cloudy? Tell me when the universe will explode or shut the fuck up… And the weather man is soooo satisfied and care free… Telling his little jokes to the other newscasters who just reported on another school shooting like they were describing hairspray… Maybe the reason people are so depressed is the fact that this country had so much potential but look what it’s become… Sad retarded isolation… Singular puppets on a meaningless treadmill of consumerism… In the future we’ll all live in malls and drive our SUVs between stores because we’ll be too fat to walk… They’ll pump the exhaust to third world countries and the rest of humanity will be outside wandering hopeless scratching for worms beaten by police… This will be the new reality show televised like a twisted blend of Cops and America’s Funniest Videos… Brought to you by Pontiac, Mc Donald’s, T-Mobile and endless recaps of today’s weather…
