Why today? Why is my boss in the hospital TODAY?
I have enough on my plate already between running the assay and class tonight and I already didn't have enough time to study.
I wanted to just say bugger to all the post office stuff today and just NOT deal with it as much as possible, and now Boss is out and Boss' boss is out and fuck FUCK. Do NOT want to do this today. Do NOT have the patience to organize everything, find all the files I need, time to read the protocol over...
Am I supposed to stick around and make sure these things get processed? I was planning on leaving when it was convenient and letting the Boss oversee everything.
Technically I'm not the one in charge of this by expedient of missing Boss' phone call last night, but I think we all (meaning, those of us that I work with) know I'm the only one who knows what's going on. Our technical point man for today hasn't even been in on the e-mail volley. *I'm* supposed to be the backup in case of an emergency, and I was hoping it wouldn't be necessary.
