ohh man!
It's my birthday in less than a week! I'm excited about that although I shouldn't really be. Not really doing anything for my b-day. We're taking a trip down to So Cal for Hal's birthday at the end of June. My plan is to see Disneyland, see my new niece, and find somewhere to go camping, while borrowing camping gear from the family, if anyone still HAS any.
I've worked so many hours the last two weeks, and for some unknown reason my boss thinks that because I'm back in the office, I should be picking up everyone else's slack....so I can't actually take off enough time between now and the end of the pay period to NOT get overtime. ...of course, my company doesn't approve of overtime, so we're going to take the slightly illegal route and I'm just going to take 2 days off in the next pay period at my own discretion. This works just fine for me.
Still have to organize things from the Biologists convention I went to last week. I've gotta put together an informal presentation on the things I've learned.
I'm starting Intro to Neurobiology at Berkeley (extension) on Monday next week.
AAaand I still have to find time to go to the mechanic and get my car fixed enough to pass the smog check. Oh, and also to go see the doctor and have some tests run to find out why I've been so fatigued for the past month or so.
The fun never stops around here.
