Apparently President Obama has decided to address the nation's schoolchildren.

Seriously, this is completely ludicrous. I almost don't have the energy to be as outrageously infuriated as I should be, what with the birthers, the killing of grandparents and the Westboro Baptist Church in my backyard. I'm exhausted from being infuriated by these idiots.

Now, since my post was written in a fit of frustration, it's (I hope) understandable that some of my points were unclear. So, just so we're all on the same page: I don't believe that "if a person disagrees with [me] they are wrong". I never said I did. I specifically mentioned, in the paragraph that you quoted in your reply, that I am "all for different political philosophies and opinions co-existing ( ... )

Wow, you sure read a lot into that. But you are right, there never will be open dialog that will make any sense as long as people feel like they have to lie and use scare tactics. I never suggested that they were right, I was just suggesting that we should all try to keep an open mind. While I don't know what the truth is, about Obama, Bush or any political figure, I do know we probably never will. the media dictates what we know and what we don't. They are the ones we should never trust. Because they can't seem to keep their own feelings and beliefs from infiltrating the report ( ... )
