Self references to recent LJ nonsense

Mostly self references to recent LJ nonsense:

  • First there was the nudge
    feature
    ( changelog),
don't be fooled by the change that looks like it allows nudge
    to be disabled
immediately following; it's a sitewide enable.

  • The developer that is actually our saviour for nudge: user
    disable
    . Here's the useful file: ljhooks.pl.
Is that actually valid perl code? ...the subsequent change suggests it
    isn't.

  • Latest "we don't need an opt-out" nonsense is here: vgifts (guilty
    file 1
    ) (guilty
    file 2
    ) ( suggestion
    entry
) ... hey look, isn't that the same username that's associated with
the original nudge feature, hiding in the comments? Hm.
