So it's not quite 830pm on the 25th of December, 2009. As I write this entry, I'm sitting here with the cats nearby, the Doctor Who Christmas Special downloading in the background, a glass of seltzer and some chocolate at hand, and a mound of gifts awaiting the sorting and putting-away process. I'm sitting here having a very relaxed evening. I'm watching Stephen Fry in America -- in which one of my favorite Brits has documented a journey through the US. I'm watching some Doctor Who stuff and eating leek/tater soup...

Eh, not bad. It's been ages since I made it. Reasonably tasty, though it's not thick enough.

So this morning I figured I'd engender some holiday cheer by bringing in a box of munchkins.

Apparently I was not alone.

In the kitchen, to be eaten by 9-10 people, were:

50 munchkins
1 doz brownies
1 apple pie

plus we each got some peppermint bark.

Brownies are my kryptonite. :P
