I have been going through a bit of depressed phase. I guess it was bound to happen sooner or later, but that doesn't make it seem any more purposeful or anything

I can't imagine what you must be going through, Juzzie. I don't think it's really fair of Andrew to be going out with his friends and leaving you with the typical "stay at home" mum role, though. Maybe you could work out some sort of compromise? Or ask your folks to take Katrina for a weekend while you and Andrew get away?
In any case, I think it's really important for you to develop a strong support group around you by letting people know that you're not at your best. I hope things pick up for you real soon, chickee xxx
Juz, just remember that what you're doing has a great effect on someone's life. Every minute, every nappy change...everything has meaning. Being a mother is so incredibly important - and I'm sure Katrina will thank you one day for staying home. I meet far too many kids who are screwed up because their parents tried to shirk responsibility and be their 'best friend' instead of being a parent.
But me time is v. important. Otherwise you'll burn out. A nice bath. A massage. (which reminds me...haa) And things will never change unless Andrew knows how you feel - and you shouldn't worry too much about Andrew's reaction to it - you're talking about your well being which also concerns his daughter. That should be enough for him. Plus, it's not really fair on you...
Anyway doll, I can only encourage you and telepathically send you all the blessings and positive thoughts that I have, lol. Keep your chin up, and try not to pull out too much of your hair ;)

I have starting thinking about planning at least a night away for the two of us. I think we need it.
