I just re-read my article.. Damn I must have been sleepy, that was crap. Ehh : / I seriously don't understand writing.... I got my first Pressure Essay back from AP English...
Orange = Unnecessary, Unhelpful
Blue = Good Material Presented wrongly
Green = Meaningful
You notice, my writing is Blue and Orange... and I even spelled the subjects name wrong!! agoalr nga;renae
On College and SAT essays he told us 5 paragraph essays are guaranteed fail... That colleges are looking for students with Original writing. Their own personal writing style... My class hasnt written an essay let alone a 5 paragraph essay for English since we were freshmen... Our last English teacher wasnt a very good one... He told us before we can grasp our own personal style.. we have to be able to grasp the 5 paragraph essay. Which we will have to learn how to get to right by 2nd Semester because they dont work on SAT...
He did 1-1 essay reviews with us today and the first things he said were. "You give me hope in this class, You're a writer and you have your own voice." .... "But Mr. Smith, my writing is Blue and Orange....." He said its okay, I'm ahead of the rest of the class and just need more discipline in my writing...... my writing is Blue and Orange... He kept associating me with words like "Personal Style" "A voice" "blah blah"
.... I really dont understand writing....
I read the article I wrote last week, the essay I just got back and the new one I just started last night... They all sound like crap to me... I dont know what Im doing or what the difference between my writing is... huuu I never wanted to be a writer, but people keep suggesting that to me... Writing professionally never interested me and I cant tell the difference between my crap articles and what people tell me is good... They both look the same to me...
Writing... I dont understand it.
