HAHAHA. Okay, so Dune is about the planet of Arrakis, home to the Fremen, a warrior-like race, and Spice, which is what allows people to see the future and Guildsmen to travel in space. As a result, it is the most coveted thing in the entire universe.
Cue Leto's dad, Paul Atreides, who is the son of a Duke. A coup takes place and Paul and his mother run away to the desert. There, he realizes that he's a genetic anomaly, a Kwisatz Haderach, someone who can see the future better than anyone else and with the help of the Fremen, he takes Dune back and becomes the Emperor of the known universe.
Time passes, Paul gets trapped by his own visions, his wife dies and Paul leaves the Empire, leaving his two children Ghanima and Leto behind. They grow up together, while trying to deal with the fact they have a GAZILLION PEOPLE in their heads plus their aunt has gone crazy.
Children of Dune the miniseries is a fascinating watch because it's definitely one of sci-fi's best miniseries. It has gorgeous music, beautiful choreography and it condenses Dune into a great story with likeable characters and their sense of tragedy. There are no words to how much I adore it.
