I'm with you and reading Verdaniweaves does make the situation clearer. I think we need to be on guard against finding boogie-mens and terrorists under every doorstep and in every newspaper . Tings iss bad enouff witout conspiracy theorists adding to it.
In this case, the legion of incompetents who don't do basic homework.
Notes for wannabe jihadists of socioeconomic upper-middle class lacking both adequate foreign governmental support and imagination:
Get working blueprints from the United States. Unlike the U.K., such things are legal to host on the Internet there.
London has too many surveillance cameras. Please verify that intended cruise-control routes are drivable.
The one thing that was done right this time, was concealability. Observe how one of the car bombs went completely unnoticed until after it had been towed away for illegal parking.
If you intend to park illegally, rig the thing to detonate on towing.
I'd rather not think about things like that if it all right with you..........
Fortunately most - but not all, alas, terrorists score high on passion and lower on pre-planning and thought.
Here on my little island in the North Baltic we have felt 'protected' from these menaces for a long time, now after the mess with the Unknown soldier, the menaces are moving closer and closer to Estonia.
