Last week:

Friday - saw a cellist and pianist at the FAB, then watched Hard Knox and the Heads play at the Cove, then hung out with Anne. We got Casey and Liza and went to the Motherfucker, where later on the Eric Tessmer band came over, and all the ladies blushed. Eric and Walker joined us and we went to a 'hat party' at Cody's, where people were drinking trash can punch, playing beer pong, and dancing to Golddigger all while Eric was wearing Anne's pink hat with white pokadots. Then we headed to the Sig house for the pledge party, which was entertaining, and then I went to bed late after trying to be a matchmaker for various friends.

Life in pictures from the past week:

Tri-Delt formal on Saturday, with my date Ben.

Happy birthday to me.

Sung by this guy.

After formal at The Motherfucker.

Sunday:
Cake at 1 a.m. at Kerbey Lane with Walker, Stephen, and Evan for my birthday while listening to stories of Stephen's crazy ex-girlfriend and hearing about a time when he was chased by some bums in South Austin.

Monday:
20th birthday.

Surprise party for me at Korouva. Walker, Liza, Nick, David, Natalia, Ben, Dylan, Eric, Eva, Travis, Nick Hansen, Alex, Julia, April, Jaci, and Tanlyn all came, had cake, and bought me this beautiful dress. I wore it right then and drank wine. I wore it to work the next day. I love my dress, and my friends, I can't believe they got it for me. Liza and I saw it while I was shopping for a formal dress, and thought it was beautiful. She and Walker planned my birthday party and got the dress for me. Walker had to drive in the rain to Austin, and ran out of gas on his way home from buying it. Best birthday present ever.

Tuesday:

Capitol Brasserie with Ana, Deanna, and David for dinner. Basically the best meal ever. Then to Georgetown to The Motherfucker.

Wednesday:
Schooool. Study break - I hung out with Ben at the house.

Thursday:
Work at the Capitol - I had a meeting with the Texas State Employees Union and entered information in the computer and wrote letters all afternoon. Then had dinner at Monument (chocolate pie!) with Walker and David, going to a concert at Korouva, and BROOKS IS COMING (that is, if the snow allows him to leave Denver, I'm hoping he makes it tonight).
