No internet in the Shearn for unknown reasons = I'm actually reading OR watching the same episode of My Super Sweet Sixteen three or four times.
The Jetta's "EPC" (Engine Power Control) light is on, brake lights don't work, and cruise control won't turn on, but all of this costs money to fix.
Work is decent, right now I am in charge of the front desk while everyone is at lunch, then I am giving another tour at 1. Hopefully it won't be to the usual boring pre-med senior in high school who doesn't have any questions and stares blankly at me without even laughing once at my tour guide banter.
The past week or so is all a blur, but I guess I've done some notable things. New Year's Eve was the best it could have been. Brooks and I met Casey, Alex, Lindsey, and Will downtown Austin for the First Night parade. It was so beautiful, so many random people, bikes made to look like animals, dance parties in the street, and fireworks. After that we went to Kerbey Lane for dinner and then to a New Year's Eve party at Bev's in Austin. I spent a few days in Seguin, which was extremely hard, but nice at the same time. I went to a party this weekend given by a Sig alum in Austin with Dylan, Lindsey, and Will. I had dinner last night at Sam's with Paul and Dylan. I'm tired and I've been sleeping a lot. I now sleep in a big bed since Lindsey moved out, hopefully I won't get another roommate, or they will have to learn to be comfortable with sharing a bed with me as well as not having a closet. I start my internship, as well as classes, next week. I'm looking at different places to study abroad for the fall. Other than that, I've just been hanging around, waiting for something new to happen, going to meetings, having bad days, and having worse days... but at least I'm doing something.
I guess I have to start working again, and I hope I get the internet back soon.
UPDATE: The internet is no longer going nuts, and instead is providing me with all the facebook profiles my little heart desires. Also, I am watching EXPOSED right now, the girl is named Princess, and one of the guys said "I am an athlete, student, and a model... I'm everything you need" --- and the lie detector said he was telling the truth.
My tour was pretty good, the girl was into SU and asked a lot of questions. Then I read a lot of applications and wrote down numbers for a few hours.
I'm going to Austin tonight.
Oh yeah, and I live in the future, that's how I post from it.
