I don't understand!

Went to the theatre today and saw "One Man, Two Govnors", I honestly had no idea what this show was about or anything but it was not at all what I expected (even though I didn't really expect anything). It was really funny, slapstick, farcical stuff. I really enjoyed it although I would imagine that it's kind of "obvious" comedy wouldn't be to everyone's taste. I think it was the most I'd laughed while at the theatre though.

The cast included "Primeval" stars Hannah Spearritt (who wasn't in it as much as some of the other actors but was good anyway) and Ben Mansfield (who was actually very funny. I wouldn't have expected him to be so good at visual comedy) along with other names like Owain Arthur (who was the lead character and was very funny), Jodie Prenger and Daniel Ings among others.

If you like your theatre funny with some singing you can't go wrong with this.

After the show we waited at the stage door to see if we could catch anyone on the way out. After waiting for a few minutes Ben Mansfield came out and we asked him for autographs etc, first I asked him to sign my program which he did while I commented that I really enjoyed the show and that he was good in it. He asked my name while he was signing (asking how to spell it etc) and commented on my "patriotic" nails! After he signed my program I asked him if he could sign my "Primeval" DVD too (the one that already had Hannah Spearritt, Andrew Lee Potts, Douglas Henshall, James Murray, Juliet Aubrey and Ben Miller's signatures on it), he was happy to do that and said something about signing on Douglas Henshall. He then signed things for Jo and Vicky before Dave asked him if we could have a photo with him too, he said it was okay so we all posed for a picture. He was really nice, very tall and very posh! I don't remember him sounding that posh in "Primeval".

We waited a little longer - Jodie Prenger came out but was on her phone so we didn't want to bother her - and Owain Arthur came out and we asked him for a picture and autograph. He was really nice and friendly too.

Then we waited a little longer on the hope that Hannah Spearritt might come out - it got to 6pm and she hadn't come out so we decided to call it a day and head home.

Here's the pics:
