No "Hawaii Five-0" last night but we did get new "Castle" for the first time this year
Good to see the show back but while I enjoyed this episode I don't think it was a classic. It was an interesting case but I figured out who the killer was quite early on. I think it would have been more interesting if he actually had been a proper spy instead of a coporate one.
I liked the stuff between Ryan and Jenny - although him being on a cleanse while on the job has to be against some kind of health and safety rule. Nice to see them actually getting married. I hope it goes smoothly for them. I like Ryan. The stuff between him and Esposito was cute too - I loved them arguing about the donut! Lol! I love their friendship. Still think Esposito should have been the best man.
Nice scenes between Castle and Beckett as usual although it is getting a bit tiresome now - even for me. They clearly like each other and there's nothing really stopping them. That final scene was really cute though. "Maybe third times a charm?". Are you offering, Beckett?
Guest star wise, the first woman they talked to was in "Drop Dead Diva" - played Grayson's girlfriend/fiance. And the woman who was the killer looked familiar but I can't place her.
So, yeah, a decent enough start to the second half of the season.
After that I watched the pilot of "Unforgettable" which just started on SkyLiving. Thought it was okay. I'm not entirely convinced of Poppy Montgomery's ability to carry the whole show. Interesting ongoing storyline re: her sister's death though. I'll probably give it a few more episodes.
