You're stuck in my second favourite Bill Murray movie
Loved this episode! A few of my shows have done the "Groundhog Day" thing and I nearly always love it (the "Supernatural", "The X Files" and "Medium" ones are show favourites for me) so as soon as I realised what this episode was gonna be I just knew I'd love it and I did.
Okay, so there wasn't much about the ongoing story stuff but it was a cracking standalone episode.
When I watched the "sneak peek" of Nathan dying I had a feeling this episode was gonna be a "Groundhog Day" one.
Loved that it was Audrey living the day over and over again and that she kept having to go to Nathan and explain it to him because, of course, he'd be the only one who'd believe her.
Her reactions to everyone dying and then being okay when she woke up again were really good - loved her hugging Duke and him having no idea why (also loved Nathan's reactions when Duke was dying. Shame we didn't get to see Duke's reactions to Nathan's death), after that I kinda wanted her to hug Nathan but think it was better that she didn't, she just looked too relieved to move, I guess (how cute was it when she checked his coffee in case it was too hot?). I also liked her trying to make sure Chris, Nathan or Duke didn't go downtown because she knew someone was gonna die and didn't want to risk there not being a reset.
The Duke Chris stuff was funny! I loved it when Nathan walked past Chris and covered his face so he wouldn't look at him and then told Duke why. Lol!
I felt really sorry for Audrey at the end when she sent Chris away, I guess no matter how much she likes him he's never really gonna understand the things she's been through and the things she does.
Yep, loved this episode for so many reasons! Great storyline, great Nathan/Audrey scenes ("you could never fail me" aww), great Duke/Audrey scenes, great Nathan/Duke scenes. Honestly, everything was just good.
Really enjoying season 2!
After that I watched two more episodes of "Suits" - 1x08 and 1x09 - I think I'm up to date now so can watch it once a week now. Reminds me a lot of "White Collar", you know? Which is cool because I like that show. Glad I started watching it as I like it a lot.
Then I watched two episodes of "Psych" season 3 - 3x05 and 3x06 - fun episodes and I really like Shawn and Gus. Oh and 3x06 and Jane Lynch in it.
