Caught up on some of my shows yesterday. And I also watched two more episodes of "Suits" - 1x06 and 1x07. I'm really getting into it now and I love the relationship between Mike and Harvey (although not in a slashy way. More in a bromantic way). They have great chemistry and even though they're so different they make a really good team.
Then I watched "Teen Wolf" - 1x07 "Night School". I'm getting really into this show now. It's so much better than I thought it would be. I love all the ongoing storylines they're doing - who's the alpha? What's the deal with Jackson? What's the history behind Allison's family? Very nicely done.
Stiles is still my favourite character - the way he reacts to things just seems real to me. And his sarcasm is awesome too. I also really like his friendship with Scott. Liked the scene at the end of this episode between them.
I can't understand why he told them it was Derek? Surely when Derek turns out to be okay (here's hoping) he's gonna be a bit pissed off that everyone thinks he's a serial killer. And why was Allison so annoyed at Scott, he didn't really do anything wrong. From her point of view all he did was try and save them all. I don't get it.
I think I night need an icon for this show.
After that I watched "Torchwood: Miracle Day" - episode 6, I think. While I really enjoyed the Rex and Esther side of this weeks story I didn't really love the rest of it. Jack's stuff was a bit slow and really talky and Gwen's side just seemed boring in comparism to the Rex and Esther stuff. It's shame that I'm enjoying the new characters more than the old original ones. Rex is cool - I liked him from the beginning - and I love what they're doing with Esther. She could end up being the hero of the piece.
Gwen continues to annoy me with her shouting for no reason - I was getting annoyed with her for getting annoyed with Rhys. Did she really think he would just not show up? Doesn't she have any faith in him?
Next weeks looks like it might be a bit too Jack and Gwen focused and I'm not sure how I feel about that. I should be pleased but I think I'll just end up missing Rex and Esther.
After that TV catch-up I resumed my usual Friday night schedule and by watching "Medium" - 7x09 "The People in Your Neighborhood" which was good as usual. I'm getting increasingly worried about the cracks forming in Joe and Allison's relationship though. I hope they get through this and come out stronger. I can't understand them both wanting to go back to school so I hope they can figure it out in a way that's fair to both of them.
The case of the week was interesting too. I had a feeling that dude was innocent and that the neighbour had something to do with it. I hope Allison did prove it in the end.
I can't believe there's only four more episodes of it left. Ever. I'm gonna miss it once it finishes.
Then it was "Dexter" time - 5x10 "In The Beginning". I'm not sure how I feel about where they're going with the Dexter/Lumen relationship but the scenes between them during this episode were done really well. I liked him teaching her how to kill someone and her reaction to actually doing it. I like that Dexter can actually truly be himself with her. He's never really had that kind of relationship with someone before and I think he didn't realise just how much he needed it.
Robocop is getting in way too deep now and I have a really bad feeling about where it could lead. For him and Dexter. Not to mention that Deb now has a theory about a vigilante. She's getting a bit too close here. With only two episodes left now I'm wondering how it's all gonna end.
