It's a bittersweet symphony this life

I really didn't want to get up for work this morning and for a while I couldn't really figure out why. Then I realised that it was because I'd stayed up late last night watching some movie. It was a thing called "The Best Man" and it had Seth Green in it doing a fairly passable English accent - even though his accent was okay it seemed really weird to me, I just kept looking at him thinking "dude, you're Seth Green. You're not supposed to sound like that!". It wasn't bad.

Speaking of accents - I watched an interview online last night with Matt Bomer and I had no idea he's Texan. I've never noticed it on "White Collar" or "Chuck" but as soon as he started talking in that interview I like "hang on, he has an Southern accent, where's he from?" so I had to look it up. His accent really reminds me of Jared Padalecki.

Speaking of "Supernatural" (well I was, kinda) I pre-ordered the season 5 DVD yesterday - I was gonna import the R1 version but the UK version only comes out in a month so I might as well wait. It'll be cheaper. It's gonna be my birthday present from Mum and Dad. It'll be a bit late bit I don't really care about that. I'm going out for a meal with some friends later so that'll be nice.

Oh, hutchiebear sent me a big balloon today and Pepper is scared of it! Lol! I think that's the first thing we've ever seen her scared of. When I took it out of the box she was growling and barking at it from as far away as she could get and when I took it closer to her just to show her that it's not scary she ran away. Aww, I guess she's never seen a balloon before.

I just listened to McFly doing an acoustic cover version of The Verve, hence the subject title. The song is in my head now.
