"The Vampire Diaries" was good again last night - it was 1x09 "History Repeating". I felt sorry for Damon because he seemed so upset when he didn't get to bring Katherine back - he truly did love her and would do anything to get her back. And has been waiting for all that time too. Stefan was cool in it too - I especially liked it when Elena told him she was okay being with him still and he replied that he wasn't. The characters of Damon and Stefan seemed a bit black and white when it first started - like Damon was bad and Stefan was good - but it doesn't seem like that anymore. Which is obviously a good think. Stefan is still my favourite though.
I liked the introduction of the new history teacher - he's a vamp, right? I was shouting at Jenna not to invite him in. But is he a good vamp or a bad one? I want to know that. I'd like him to be a good one personally. Oh, and when her ex-boyfriend appeared at the door I also shouted "don't invite him in! He's dead!!". Has he been turned into a vampire or is he something else?
You know what? I'm quite glad I decided to keep watching this show. It didn't start well but has been gradually improving over recent weeks and I'm really starting to enjoy it.
After that I watched "Fringe" - which was also good but still a bit formulaic nowadays. I think we need a mytharc episode soon. I did like the insight into Walter's father though. They seem to be really forcing the Peter and Olivia stuff again though. Last night we had two mentions about a possible hook-up. I didn't like it. Especially when I don't think their chemistry is that great.
