So, I watched "Chicago Fire" - 3x13 - I thought this episode was quite good but the whole thing with Shay's death being linked to the death of Peter Mills' fathers death just seemed far too convenient. I mean, what are the chances really? It seemed very contrived. I am interested in seeing where things might go from here though.
After that I rewatched "Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines" (2003). I know it gets a lot of shit but I've always thought it was okay and I really enjoyed watching it last night. I've always liked Nick Stahl's performance and I think I've officially decided that he's my favourite John Connor. His performance has always reminded me of Michael Beihn's Kyle Reese (in a "he's definitely Kyle Reese's son" kind of way) and I really liked that.
In other news: last night I was looking through my cinema ticket collection (which I collected over ten years from 1995 - 2005) and I was shocked (and appalled) by just how much the price of cinema tickets has increased over the past 10 years. The last ticket I collected was for a showing of "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" on a Friday evening in 2005 and it cost me £6.80 (and I remember thinking at the time that that was quite expensive). It would cost me almost £12 now. That's insane and probably explains why I don't go to the cinema that much these days.
