A landline? What is this? 1996?

So since Monday I've watched "A Nightmare on Elm Street", "Scream", "Scream 2", "Scream 3" and "Scream 4" as part of my ongoing tribute to Wes Craven. Tonight I'm gonna watch "New Nightmare" and maybe "Red Eye" (which I've never seen).

Last night I also watched Scream 1x10 (season finale)

I actually thought this finale was a little bit disappointing - especially considering how good the built up had been during the previous few episodes. The big reveal of Piper being the killer was guessed by most of the audience ages ago. And her being Emma's sister too was a bit disappointing. I kinda wanted the killer not to be her half sibling at all.

I thought the final scenes about Audrey were interesting though and leave things pretty open for season 2. But I'm not sure if what we saw actually implicates her in anything really. Sure it shows that she was in contact with Piper previous but that in itself doesn't actually mean much. Although she did manage to kill Piper before she could reveal anything else which is a bit sketchy. I dunno. I'll guess we'll see come next summer. Obviously Piper was working with someone else because she didn't knock herself out and drag Will away. I think Noah will definitely look into it a little bit more next season.

I'm just glad Noah survived as he's my favourite - I like Audrey too which I guess is why I'm reluctant to believe that she actually killed anyone.

I ended up enjoying this show - it's a good summer show, I think - and am looking forward to season 2.
