Eric Christian Olsen is gonna be at this May's MCM London Comic Con!! I'm quite excited about this and hope I get to meet him. He's plays my favourite character in "NCIS: Los Angeles"! I wonder if they'll add anymore guest before the event?
SPN 10x19
When this episode first started I didn't think I'd like it, to be honest, as I thought it was gonna be a bit too Men of Letters-centric and I wasn't up for a flashback episode about that. As the episode went on, of course, I realised that wasn't the case and what we did get was a pretty decent monster of the week type episode. I don't think it was the best episode they've ever done but it was definitely better than I first expected.
The main story of the suicide house was pretty good and I liked how both Sam and Dean got effected by it at first. I thought the scenes between Dean and Benny were good, I thought it was especially good that Dean knew it wasn't Benny because the real Benny wouldn't be wanting him to kill himself.
The scenes between Sam and Rowena were okay but I definitely think Sam's making a mistake working with her - even if for what he thinks is a very good reason. I don't trust her at all and think she's just playing on Sam's desperation.
With not many episodes left to go now I'm wondering how it's all gonna play out before the finale.
Arrow 3x20
So this was episode 20 and there are three more episodes left to go this season but this episode sure felt like a finale to me. I honestly have no idea where the show can go in those last three episodes and it makes me wonder whether it's almost peaked too soon and the rest of the episodes won't live up to this one in terms of finale feeling.
I had a feeling Thea would end up being okay (well, alive) in the end and I guess that was Ra's original plan then. Leave Thea almost dead so Oliver would have to come to him to save her life. And then give himself over to the League. I guess Oliver had nothing else to fight for. He had to save Thea. What can happen to Oliver from here?
I thought the scenes of Oliver at the hospital with Thea were pretty well done - Stephen Amell did a good job and John Barrowman was pretty good too (I've always been a fan of his acting on this show).
I thought the Felicity and Oliver scenes were quite good - I liked that she went to talk to Ra's to try and put a stop to things even though logically speaking that was never gonna work. I thought the moment when he explained to her that she had the opportunity to say goodbye to Oliver and tell him how much she cared for him - which was something he never had - was a good one too.
Even though I've been a big fan of Oliver and Felicity's from day one - and have loved their chemistry - I can't help but feel a little bit let down by the main scene between them in this episode. For some reason the chemistry just didn't seem quite there for me which was a real shame. I thought the scene when she told him she loved him and then the scene after they slept together were both really good and the old chemistry was there but for some reason the physical stuff just didn't seem to work.
The scene when they said goodbye was a good one too and the scene when Felicity, back at home in Starling City, told Laurel what had happened came close to making me cry. And it was nice to see Laurel supporting Felicity too during that moment.
I also enjoyed the scene when Oliver said goodbye to Diggle. I've always enjoyed their friendship so I was glad they got their moment too.
Like I said this episode seemed pretty damn finale and would actually have made a really good finale - Oliver joining the league would have made for a great cliffhanger. I wonder what the finale actually holds?
I also watched "Forever" - 1x18 - which I thought was a pretty good episode as usual. Still holding out for that moment when Jo finds out. Surely she has to before the season ends?
