You're so focused on people you love, you forget to see that there are people who love you.

I had a pretty busy TV night last night - at the moment Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays are very full. So full that sometimes I can't fit them all in. Luckily Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday aren't as busy so I can catch up those days. There's just too much TV on these days.

SPN 10x18

I thought this episode was quite good. It was good seeing Charlie again and I liked her interactions with Sam and Dean as usual. It was also really cool that she finally met Castiel - their scene was cute. I'm glad Castiel has got his grace back. He's back at full power, so to speak.

I thought the book storyline was quite interesting and I thought it was quite good that Dean decided he didn't want to use it because the cost would probably be too high. He was probably right too. There would be some kind of fall out from it. Because there usually is. I did think it was weird that when Sam didn't destroy the book Dean didn't know. Especially as he kept saying that he could feel it calling him. I didn't really get that.

And once again the brothers are lying to each other - Sam is willing to do everything to save Dean, even it it means lying to him (which I guess is no different to when Dean lies to Sam a few seasons ago). I wonder what kind of fall out there might be when Dean finds out? Maybe he'll understand because he's done it before himself? I think teaming up with Rowena is a bad idea though - that's not gonna end well, is it?

I thought the scene of Sam talking to Charlie about how he doesn't want this life by himself. I thought that was really sad.

Arrow 3x19

So, this episode was intense. I thought the Roy stuff was done pretty well and I did actually think he'd died for a minute there and then he showed up at Verdant. Shame he has to leave town though (and didn't get to say goodbye to Thea). I wonder if we'll see again or is he now heading to the new spin off they're planning? I think he's been a good addition to Team Arrow and the bond he'd built with Oliver was really nice. It'll be a shame if we don't see that again.

I thought it was quite good that Oliver didn't want to just sit back and leave Roy there - he was planning a break out! I guess part of why Felicity and Diggle were so against him doing it was because they already had a plan in place. And Oliver did need to be sensible about it - he needs to lay low for a while and stay away from Lance. I don't think I like what they're doing with him though - I know he's grieving and everything but he's really gone off the deep end at the moment. He's not even thinking rationally and it's gonna be detrimental to his job. His bosses aren't gonna let him keep acting this way. He has no real proof of anything and they can't be arresting people without real evidence. That's not how it works.

I thought Ray was quite good in this episode too - I've really grown to like his character (after a somewhat rocky start) and his relationship with Felicity is actually quite sweet. Although now he knows (or suspects) that Felicity has feelings for Oliver. I wonder what he's gonna do with that information? Will he break up with her? Speaking of Oliver and Felicity, I thought their scenes were quite good again in this episode. She always seems to say the right thing to Oliver when he needs it. I like that.

And now Thea! I can't believe Ra's did that. I don't think Thea is dead though. For some reason I think she's gonna be okay - killing her wouldn't give Ra's what he wants. He's just make an enemy out of Oliver (who will pretty much be a man with nothing left to lose). Oliver would just be really really angry. I think it's just a warning, that if Oliver doesn't do what he wants it'll be for real next time.

We're heading towards the end of the season now - four episodes left! Eeep! - and I have no idea where things might go from here but I'm looking forward to it!

I also watched:
"Forever" - 1x17 - I thought this episode was quite a good one as usual. The case was pretty decent. I know I keep saying this but I really want Jo to find out Henry's secret. Like he'll die in front of her or something so he'll have to explain himself. He hasn't died in quite a few episodes now so he's due. This show is about someone who can't die after all!
"Resurrection" - 2x05 - I thought this episode was quite good. I like the relationship between Bellamy and Maggie and I really wanted him to tell her what was going on with him during this episode. Especially when he started becoming symptomatic. He needs her help, him leaving isn't gonna help him now. I know he needs to investigate but not by himself. Maggie's grandmother is a real bitch - what is she planning? And now Maggie's friend saw what she did. I did think it was quite interesting that the returned disappear for good when they lose the will to live. The scenes with the deputy and his brother were good too - maybe he's finally free now.
"Sleepy Hollow" - 2x14 - I thought this episode was quite good. It was nice to have something a bit Hawley-centric. I hope he hasn't left though as I really like him as a character. Hopefully we'll see him again soon. I thought the Abbie and Ichabod scenes were nice too - it was nice seeing them talking things out. And singing karaoke! Now, what is Katrina doing with Irving? This isn't gonna end well, is it?

I just noticed there's new things at the bottom of this update livejournal box. "Show other entries related to this post"? What?
