Happy Easter

So, it's the final of "The Voice UK" this evening, I'll be ready supporting Team Ricky and wearing my Team Ricky shirt, of course. I don't think I've enjoyed this season quite as much as last years though - I think it's because the spin off Louder in Two hasn't been on. I liked watching that show for the two weeks leading up to the final. I don't think I can call the winner as usual this year - Stevie is the favourite but that never really means anything on this show - any one of the four could win I think. I'd love for either Stevie or Emmanuel to win because they're both on Team Ricky and I've got a bet on Ricky being the winning coach (if one of them wins I'll win £11. Yes, 11 whole pounds. How exciting).

In other news: I'm up to date on my TV shows now - last night I watched the latest episode of "The Night Shift" - 2x07 - I thought this episode was okay but I don't think this show works being on this time of year. It's a summer show and, in my opinion, should be on during the summer. It doesn't fit well amongst the other shows on this time of year. If we get a season 3 I hope it moves back to the summer again. I'm still loving Ragosa as a character and I enjoyed his scenes in this episode - I liked that his daughter respecting him and his decision in the end.

Then I watched "12 Monkeys" - 1x06 - I thought this episode was quite a good one. Sometimes I find this show really confusing but, if I'm paying attention, it's mostly okay. I thought this episode was generally quite easy to follow though. I like the idea that Cole using that machine multiple times is having an adverse effect on him - and in the long run will probably kill him. I guess you can't keep travelling through time without it effecting you in some way. I liked the inclusion of Cassie's boyfriend in this episode - and now he knows too, and believes now.

Then this morning I watched "Sleepy Hollow" - 2x12 - I thought this episode was quite good. The fact that Moloch has been defeated but the threat isn't over makes things really interesting, I think, and I'm interested in seeing what other things they have to face in upcoming episodes. I also liked that Ichabod and Abbie can disagree on things but still work together when it matters - I think that says a lot about their relationship. I'm not loving Katrina at the moment though and the cracks in her marriage to Ichabod are definitely showing. I wonder what will happen between them?
