Last night I watched the season 2 premiere of "The Night Shift" - I thought it was quite a good episode but I couldn't remember what happened at the end of last season at all so I felt a bit lost when it first started. I don't know how I feel about this not being a summer show anymore though - I liked watching it when there was nothing else on. It could get lost quite easily during a full TV schedule. We'll see.
I also watched "Castle" - 7x16 - I thought this episode was quite fun but nothing really special and at this point of the seventh season sometimes a bit of fluff isn't what you want. I'm still hoping for something to shake this show up. I honestly think it needs it. I think this show is getting a bit stale.
NCIS:LA 6x16
I thought this episode was okay - the stuff about Sam was good and I liked seeing Callen's worry about his partner. It was weird seeing it confirmed beyond a doubt that Kensi and Deeks are officially together now. I thought it was quite good seeing more of their relationship though. Their first official fight was weird, I honestly don't even know what they were arguing about. Maybe they need to balance their time together a bit better though - I guess that's what you need to do when you work together every day. They need their space or they'll just get sick of each other.
I felt sorry for Deeks at the end though because he looks so sad. Bless him.
I thought the case of the week was okay.
After that I watched "The 100" - 2x08 - I had a feeling Finn was gonna do what he ended up doing in this episode. I don't think he could have stood by and watched people die because of him, especially when he could have stopped it. I also quite liked Clarke's reaction to it all, she knew she couldn't save his life but she could give him a quick death instead of the torture he would endure at the hands of the grounders. I wonder if their truce will happen now? And how will the others react to Clarke's actions - especially Raven? Incidentally, I liked the flashbacks of how Finn got here in the first place.
Finally I watched "Elementary" - 3x10 - I thought this episode was okay but, to be honest, I was quite tired while watching it so think I missed some important case related stuff. I am interested in seeing where the events at the end of the episode might lead though - is Kitty's attacker in NY and attacking again? That could be a good storyline for her.
