So, it was the last of the blind auditions on "The Voice UK" last night and I think this episode perfectly illustrated the main flaw of the blind auditions. Will (and Tom) waited until the last minute and then ended up with someone who's not that good on his team - and they missed out on a few really good contestants before hand. Like that Charlotte girl. She was really good and I think if Ricky and Rita hadn't already completed their teams by then they definitely would have pressed their buttons. The fact that so many good contestants didn't go through makes me wonder if there's some kind of "Wild Card" situation coming up. I guess we'll soon find out. I think Ricky and Rita did the right thing by completing their teams earlier on though - even if did mean they missed out on some acts.
I'm totally Team Ricky, of course. I love him and I think his team is really strong this year.

I thought this episode was quite good - I thought the case of the week was pretty good and I liked the inclusion of Melina Kanakaredes (from "CSI: NY" of course) and her character was a good one and I liked her story. The scenes between her and the team were quite good and it was interesting that Steve was reluctant to let her stay at first even though he's been where she is now and knows exactly how it feels.
I thought the Danny and Amber storyline was quite good too - it was nice to see her again after a while (when was the last time we saw her again?) and I thought the stuff about her ex husband was quite good. While I don't actively ship her with Danny, I'm not completely against it either. If she makes him happy then I'm all for it. It did stand out though that Danny had no scenes with the main team at all, which makes me wonder if Scott Caan was unavailable (again!) and his scenes with Amber were filmed at a different time and then added in. That would explain a lot (especially why we didn't get a scene between Steve and Danny at the hospital).
I did like the concern showed by Steve when he got that phone call about Danny being in the hospital - of course he rushed straight their. Nice scene between him and Amber too and I liked how relieved they both were when the doctor said Danny would be okay.
Oh, and are we gonna see this arsonist again in the future?
Also on Friday night I watched

I thought this episode was quite good - I liked the send off they had for Sheriff Forbes and I'm especially pleased that they didn't make that all about Elena (and Damon) as that was a real worry I had. It was about Caroline saying goodbye to her mum - and I liked the speech Damon did at the funeral. He made sure it was about her and not anyone else. I thought that was a nice touch.
It's a shame that Caroline thought Stefan saying he'd talk about their kiss tomorrow meant that it was a mistake and he just didn't want to tell her at her mothers funeral. I wonder if she will go ahead with turning her emotions off? I did like it when she told Elena that it isn't her decision to make. Elena was right, of course, but sometimes she just comes across so self righteously that even when she is right you just don't want to agree with her.
I'm glad Bonnie found her way back and I really liked that Damon was the first person she saw - again I thought they might make it about Elena but I'm glad they didn't - and embraced. I really like their friendship (or whatever) and am looking forward to seeing more scenes between them now she's back. Oh, and did his mother come back with her too? That could be interesting. Speaking of, if she died when Stefan was 10 (as the flashbacks showed) then why were there grown up pictures of Stefan and Damon in the house where Bonnie was? Did she fake her death or something?
