I booked my tickets to McBusted's 2015 tour. I might not be super happy about McBusted being a thing (I would rather have McFly back) but I still love those boys and the shows are always good. It just wouldn't feel right if the McFly boys were doing a show and I didn't go.
Last night I watched
Stalker 1x06
I really enjoyed this episode - I thought the case was really interesting and I was really pleased that it turned out what it was the woman who was mentally unstable and had been the one stalker her husband and not the other way around like she wanted everyone to believe. I think they automatically sided with the woman too - I was glad that Jack knew something wasn't right and they stopped her in the end. I would have been quite disappointed if it had ended up that it was the husband after all.
Imagine being that unhinged that you'd kill you own dog just to try and get back at someone. I can honestly say that the scene when she opened the box an the dog was in there made me feel quite sick. In these shows you can hurt as many people as you want but when the animals suffer it's just not right.
The Jack stuff was pretty interesting too - I'm glad he told Beth (some of) what has been going on with him. I'm sure we'll find out more as the season progresses.
Arrow 3x05
I really enjoyed this episode - I'm glad we got a Felicity-centric episodes. It was good seeing what Felicity was up to 5 years ago and I especially liked that the flashbacks in this episodes were about her life back then instead of Oliver's. This episode also showed how much we don't know about Felicity.
I liked the way her mother played a part too - as the episode was going on I was wondering why her mother just happened to be in an episode that was focused on something that happened in Felicity's life. I liked the way that all played out. I love the way Felicity took down the bad guy too. She can be a badass when she needs to be.
I thought the scenes between Felicity and Oliver were good too but their relationship seems to be in a really weird place right now. They seem more distant than they were back in season one. It's quite jarring considering what happened in the first episode of this season (it was almost like they gave us the events in 3x01 just to please the shippers and have almost forgotten about it now). I wonder if we have an episode in the future where they actually discuss what has happened between them? I liked the little talks they had in this episode though - and the scene when Oliver met her Mum was really cute.
I thought the scenes between Oliver and Thea were quite good too - I hope they can become close again as they the only family each ones has left. I think Oliver still treats her like she's a kid and once he gets past that I'm sure things will be okay. I like her new place too. Very swanky. And how big was that TV? Awesome.
Now, that final scene? That was killer and actually built up quite well with the comments from Roy about how he hasn't been sleepy well. Unfortunately I was spoilt for this (I read it on twitter yesterday, before I had chance to watch the episode.) but if I hadn't been I don't think I would have seen it coming. I take it Roy doesn't remember killing Sara - was he sleep walking or something? Is it because of remnants from the Mirakuru serum? I guess we'll soon find out.
After that I watched "Forever" - 1x05 - I enjoy this show. I kinda want Jo to find out about Henry. I think that could make things really interesting. Then "Perception" - 3x09 - another decent episode. I really hope they don't make Donnie cheat again, that would really annoy me from a writing point of view. I started watching "Franklin & Bash" - 4x01 - what's going on? Where has everyone gone? It felt very strange. I didn't get to the end of this episode though because I was tired. I'll try and watch it tonight.
