I just booked a ticket for
Wolfs Bane Origins. The current £10 off sale was just too tempting! And it's in Heathrow so it would be rude not to go. Right? I have two conventions booked for next year now! Yay!
Speaking of conventions - they announced another guest for City of Heroes last night. Jason Momoa. Now, I'm sure he's cool and all but I can't see why he's gonna be at this convention? He doesn't seem to have any connection to what I thought the convention is about. Very strange.
Last night I finally watched the latest "Doctor Who" - 8x11 - I thought it was quite good but, to be honest, I didn't really get it. I didn't really understand why the Doctor thought going into the afterlife would be less complicated than just going back in time and saving him. I know it's a paradox and all that but going into the afterlife? Really? Although is he not really dead anyway? Like I said, I don't think I quite got it.
I thought the opening scenes between Danny and Clara were good though and the reveal about Michelle Gomez's character was pretty cool. Finale next week already?
After that I watched
NCIS:LA 6x06
I thought this episode was quite good - I liked the idea that Sam could be set up like that although it was fixed fairly quickly, wasn't it? I think more scenes of Sam in prison would have been pretty cool. I did make me laugh that they were going on about how much that dude looked like Sam when apart from being black and bald they didn't actually look that much alike! Although, I guess if you were giving a description of someone they were pretty similar. Sam is much bigger though.
What I really liked about this episode was how they're finally accepting Grainger more - I thought the scene at the end when Callen asked him if he wanted to join them for a drink was really cool. I like Grainger and he helps them out a lot these days. He seems to be in it more than Hetty during some episodes.
Cool Deeks and Kensi moments as usual. I love Deeks. That's all.
I also watched 2x20 and 2x21 of "Beauty and the Beast" - I'm so disappointed by what they've done with Gabe. It just seems so lazy for them to make him a likeable character only for him to end up being bad again. Such a waste. I guess he's gonna try and set up Vincent again now?
