So I attempted, and failed, to get through my busy TV schedule last night. I still have "Sleepy Hollow" and the first episode of "How To Get Away With Murder" to watch tonight (or whenever I can). I really hate it when I get a backlog of shows.
I did manage to watch: POI 4x05
I thought this episode was quite good - another strong, kinda standalone-y one. I thought the number of the week was pretty good and I liked how Samaritan was the one trying to kill him because he suspected that the election had been rigged (which it had, of course, by Samaritan.
I thought the Shaw stuff was quite good - I liked seeing her helping him but not letting him know that she was helping him. That was pretty clever.
I wonder what's gonna happen next?
SPN 9x03
I thought this episode was quite good - it's nice having Dean back to his usual self (or is he?) although I'm almost disappointed that they've seemingly solved the problem posed by the cliffhanger already. I did like that Castiel mentioned that things aren't all solved because Dean still has the mark of Caine. I wonder where that's gonna lead?
The scenes between Castiel and Hannah were quite good as well and it was interesting that Crowley ended up helping Castiel get some grace back (or whatever it's called) because he thought that having demon!Dean was a bad idea. For everyone.
And who's that woman at the end? Is she gonna be the big bad for the season?
The Flash 1x03
I thought this episode was quite good but I didn't enjoy it as much as the first two - it was definitely a bit more serious than the previous one with some stuff about Caitlin's fiance and, of course, more stuff about Barry's father.
I'm enjoying the dynamics between all of the characters - Barry's relationship with Det. West is pretty interesting and so his relationship with his father. The final scene between them was quite moving.
Barry also has good chemistry with Caitlin - who, in turn, also has good chemistry with Cisco. There's quite a bit of good chemistry on this show which is what I think makes it work.
The storylines about all of the humans affected by the explosion are quite interesting too. And I can't figure out Harrison Wells at all. What is his deal? Did he plan on Barry getting these powers?
Cool seeing Robbie Amell - I wonder when we'll see him again?
I also watched the season finale of "Chicago PD" - I thought it was a pretty good episode and a pretty decent season finale. I liked the scenes between Ruzek and Burgess, of course. He was super cute when he went to her house and told her he liked her and missed her. Aww. The Chin storyline came to a head in a horrible way. Now I wonder who was responsible for that? I guess we'll find out next season.
I thought this show took a while to get going but I ended up quite enjoying it in the end - even though I still think Voight is a douche. The rest of the characters make up for it.
